What a day! Movers dropped off our belongings at 7am. We are all moved in now. G had no problems falling asleep in her new room tonight, so proud of her. Guess it helped that we visited this place several times before we moved in.

Looks like we will be renting for the next 3-5 years. No rush in buying another home until its our dream home. I am so excited about living here in the meantime. Goodnight!

The holidays were a blur.  So many places and people to visit and so many things to see.  My side of the family had Christmas breakfast.  I made crepes for the first time!  I thought they were delicious!  Christmas was so much fun this year because G is older now and was able to open her gifts.  I think her favorite gifts this year was the toy kitchen she got from mama and papa and the tea set she got from Aunty Terri.

New Year's Day we took a nice walk through Descanso Gardens.  The weather was beautiful and G and I got to ride the train through the gardens.  We are definitely coming back here again!

There was a brand new art gallery in the gardens too.

Love that quote!  I totally agree...a garden and books are all you need.

Later that evening we met up with some family for a night at the Americana Mall.  C got to ride the trolley and he absolutely had a great time!
