  • Must See

Hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving!  I sure did.  Went to hubby's parents house for Thanksgiving.  Then shopped a bit on Friday.  Went to a place called Buffalo Exchange.  Got some used designer jeans (Joe Jeans) for only $37!  What a deal!  There are other Buffalo Exchanges in America so go check it out!

G is doing more of this lately.  What's up with that?

Last night hubby and I decided to watch a movie.  Every once in awhile we find something worth watching.  This is a must see!  The movie is called Flipped.  How awesome and adorable.  If you have a daughter it's a must see.  Watching the movie was like traveling back in time when America had more family values.  When families would sit down for breakfast together and when moms were home when kids came home from school.  I loved this movie so much.  Watch it now!

  • My Brother's Wedding Day

      DSC_0330

My my my.  My one and only brother got married today.  It was such a gorgeous beautiful day!  God defied all weather reports and stopped the rain for us today!  :)   I am humbled and amazed.

Congratulations to Sam & Denise.  Remember to glorify and honor God in all that you do.  Love to you both!

  • Letter from "Grace"

    Hello Dear Mom and Dad,

This is Little Grace from Grandpa & Grandma home.

How are yoy both doing !!

Mom & Dad, I know that you will very busy to prepare yourself for the upcoming events: Uncle Samuel's wedding, Thanksgiving, and Christmas either at home or at the church. I would recommend you both that how busy you will be please do not spoil my days. I want to sleep enough every day, to eat meal or fruits that fit to my bite size, to have good time with Madison, and to think about going to see Grandpa and Grandma sometime soon.

Mom, Dad if you fail to follow my recommendation I will bring it to Grandpa & Grandam' attention and they will badly blame you.

    Love Grace

Got this email yesterday. I busted out laughing so hard. How did she get to her grandparents house and write this? Haha.

  • Pumpkin Patch & San Diego

G was able to visit the pumpkin patch four times this year!  This last time she brought her adopted sister and brothers with her.  :)

I am behind on my blogging.  Here's a couple of pics of G in San Diego for a medical conference and G wrestling with papa in the hotel bed.  Ohh she is so CUTE.  How many times do you say that a day to your little ones mamas?  Haha.

  • Pumpkin Patch

I am loving today's weather!  Cool 70s.  Even got some rain today!

G is reminding me more and more everyday that she is a TODDLER!  She is showing me her wants and needs more now, even screaming at me if she doesn't get her way!  I hope this phase will pass soon cause I'm not liking it one bit!  She is needing more interaction too.  We don't have many toys for her around here.  So I resort to singing alot and reading to her alot.  Today I decided she need a "fieldtrip" so we headed to the pumpkin patch.  Just mama and baby.  It was so much fun!  G was touching everything and really having fun.  I love being a stay-at-home mom.  We can just get up and go as we please.  And don't have to answer to nobody!  :)

  • Blogging

I miss writing in my xanga.  Maybe I'll try writing in it at least once a week.  That'll be my goal...even when life gets busy with the little one.

Fun things Grace is doing lately...

-Puts mama's underwear on her head.  Why?!

-Puts her own underwear on her head.  Why not?!

    - Even puts her own underwear on Madison's head.

-Brushes her hair and looks in the mirror for a VERY long time.

-Takes toilet paper and pretends to wipe "down there."

-When given some floss she pretends to floss herself.

    -Smiles on command!

-Likes to be chased around the house.

-Helped mama dust the coffee table today.

I'm realizing more and more Grace likes to imitate everything I do.  I better watch myself more.  And NO...I do not put underwear on my head.  Don't know where she got that one from.  Haha.

  • California Coast Vacation Pictures

Finally.  During Grace's nap today I finally got a chance to organize some pictures from our trip.  We had a lovely time driving up the coast.  I thought it would be hard with a little one strapped to a carseat most of the time...but amazingly Grace did really well.  The first day we drove 3 hours to El Capitan State Beach and camped two nights by the ocean.  It was so beautiful.  Imagine going to bed listening to the ocean waves crashing next to you.  Then we drove up to Carmel and spent another two days there in a nice little hotel.  All in all I had a great time with my husband and daughter.  It's a beautiful thing watching the man you love carry and care for your child all along the way.

Oh and nothing beats the 45-50 mpg our new/used 2005 Toyota Prius got us!  Saved us so much money on gas.  The trip and the Prius was hubby's residency graduation gift!  Can you believe it?  In just a few weeks hubby will finally be done with residency and will start his job as an attending physician.  We are so excited!  It's been a long journey and can't believe he is finally done!

Enjoy the video I put together.

It's day three of our trip.  Grace is having such a fab time!  Who knew Cali was THIS gorgeous!!!!

Will be back with more updates.

  • Cambodian Camp Meeting

Things are busy around here.  I've been helping out a friend for an upcoming wedding.  Also, Grace is not allowing me much alone time these days, so I haven't been able to update much on xanga.  I'm still enjoying reading everyone's blog though.

A few weeks ago we enjoyed some days in the mountains with our Cambodian friends.  I always love this time of year when we get to enjoy God's nature and God's people!
